NOA wellbeing workshops a success

Burnout is a widespread reality in today’s NHS. This week the NOA hosted the final in its wellbeing workshop series developed using feedback from members to give attendees the tools to navigate the many challenges they are facing during these unprecedented times.

The sessions run by Work Well Being featured leading experts including author and leading self-care expert in Suzy Reading who shared a road map for navigating times of stress, loss and change. Dr Barbara Mariposa explained the signs and symptoms of burnout and taught strategies to prevent it and  Steph Peltier  focussed on the neurobiology of resilience and how to cultivate it.

Attendee feedback has been positive. One participant at our final session focused on Resilience and recharging the inner battery said, “ What an excellent event. It was only an hour and I feel so much more able to manage my resilience and stop those energy leaks. Thank you!”
