National Orthopaedic Alliance welcomes Webinar Programme Lead

Mr Cormac Kelly, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at National Orthopaedic Alliance (NOA) founder member organisation, The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has joined the NOA as Webinar Programme Lead. Mr Kelly will work collaboratively with member organisations and the NOA Board to deliver the alliance’s webinar programme which will cover a range of areas and workstreams.

Since April 2020, Mr Kelly has played an instrumental role in the delivery of NOA’s COVID-19 webinar series, which continues to provide topical virtual sessions to support NOA members and those across the wider orthopaedic network. As a vital support to the NOA Board and project team, he will provide support and advice to enable the NOA to meet its objectives.

Mr Cormac Kelly said, “I’m honoured to accept this role which will enable the NOA to further engage with the orthopaedic community virtually through webinars. There are many more topics I think we need to address so that we are able to deliver better care for patients during these difficult times. I look forward to continuing to support the alliance with this work.”

NOA Deputy Director, Ann Hoey said, “We’re delighted that Cormac has joined the NOA team as Webinar Programme Lead. Without his guidance and direction in curating and chairing our COVID-19 webinars, the series would not have been the success it has.”
