The session, Networking to Improve PROMS practice & collaboration, will give an overview of the background of the network, share details of current activity including the registrar EMPROVE audit as well as discuss the future of the network in working to improve outcomes data collection.

  • Anji Kingman, National PROMs Network Co-ordinator and Clinical Outcomes Manager (Northumbria Healthcare NHSFT): The background and development of the National PROMs Network
  • Sammy Davies, Quality Outcomes Manager (The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHSFT): The national audit, EMPROVE (Evaluating the Measures in Patient Reported Outcomes, Values & Experiences) is allowing further investigations into the variations in PROMs data from collection methods, what PROMs are collected, how the data is reported in trusts and benchmarking nationally.
