 Building on the success of our inaugural session, Part 2 will delve deeper into the future changes impacting the training, curriculum, and regulation of PAs in orthopaedics. Watch Part 1


  • Jamie Saunders, President of the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) at the Royal College of Physicians. Who will provide valuable insights into the evolving role of PAs and the future direction of training programmes.
  • Chris Lawlor, Senior Regional Liaison Adviser, General Medical Council (GMC). Chris will discuss the proposed GMC regulations of PAs and the recent passage of the bill through Parliament, shedding light on the regulatory landscape affecting PAs.

The General Medical Council (GMC) has opened a public consultation on the regulation of physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs). The consultation is open now until midnight Monday 20 May.
