The NHS 2022/23 published planning guidance “assumes the NHS takes out cost and delivers significant additional efficiencies, on top of the NHS Long Term Plan requirements, to address the excess costs driven by the pandemic response, moving back to and beyond pre-pandemic levels of productivity when the context allows this.”
NOA Members CIP Workshop:
Through a mixture of presentations, discussions and break out groups, this NOA CIP workshop offered staff from NOA member organisations the opportunity to find out about successes and learnings across a wide range of CIP approaches. Participants left the workshop with ideas and knowledge they need to undertake successful and sustainable CIPs .
The workshop was led by:
- Caroline Owusu-Bennoah, Chief Financial Officer, RNOH
- Amanda Gaston, Deputy Director of Finance, ROH
The workshop was aimed for:
- Those involved in CIP planning
- Those who have been, or are about to be, involved in a CIP programme
- All staff – this is not restricted to finance colleagues. We are actively encouraging all staff groups from across NOA member Trusts to attend
